Welcome to ISTE's Special Interest Group for Online Learning!
SIGOL is a network of educators involved with computer-based communications—either standalone stations or in combination with other media. Members are able to share experiences and learn from each other through various professional development and networking activities, including webinars, online resource databases, and ISTE Annual Conference and Exposition events.
SIGOL also recognizes teachers for their pioneering use of online learning networks with the

The 10th Annual Online Learning Institute, jointly sponsored by EDC’s EdTech Leaders Online (ETLO), the International Association of K–12 Online Learning (iNACOL), the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) & SIGOL, and the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) offers a unique day-long event for online professional development and virtual school practitioners. Highlights include networking with practitioners from online professional development and virtual school programs as well as leading national experts in online and blended learning and opportunities to share strategies and lessons about implementing successful online and blended learning programs, a keynote presentation, and roundtable discussions around important topics facilitated by state and organization leaders and practitioners. Breakfast and lunch are included, providing additional networking opportunities for participants.

But what is UDL? What does UDL have to do with online learning? How can using the UDL framework address the learner variability we encounter daily? Join
